Measuring the Impact of Your Skills Programmes Just Got a Lot Easier

Measure real impact, not just claim rates.

Issuing a badge is only the beginning. Proving what changed for someone because of it is a different challenge altogether.

Funders and commissioners increasingly want evidence that programmes are making a difference, not just that people completed them. For most programme managers, gathering that evidence means chasing learners manually, building spreadsheets, and trying to piece together a picture long after the learning has finished.

We built Surveys to make that easier.

Collect the data at the right moment

Surveys in Navigatr are sent automatically at three points in a learner's journey: when they start a programme, when they complete it, and twelve weeks later. You configure it once, and it runs in the background.

The twelve-week follow-up is particularly valuable because it captures what actually changed for someone after the programme ended. Not intentions or expectations, but real outcomes.

The data shown is for demonstration purposes and does not represent real learners.

See outcomes, not just completion rates

Once responses come in, Navigatr brings the data together in one place. You can see hard outcomes like employment and further training, distance travelled scores that show how much someone has progressed, and demographic breakdowns to understand who your programmes are reaching and how different groups are benefiting.

There are no spreadsheets to build and no data to manually clean or combine.

The data shown is for demonstration purposes and does not represent real learners.

Built with privacy in mind

Individual survey responses are never visible to programme managers. Only aggregated results are shown, which means learners can answer honestly without worrying about how their responses will be used.

All surveys are anonymous by default. Navigatr also applies small group suppression, so if fewer than five learners respond within a group, results are withheld to protect individuals. Equality monitoring questions are optional throughout, so learners stay in control of what they share.

A genuine first in the sector

We looked at what other credentialing platforms offer. None has a native survey and impact measurement tool built into the platform. A few allow you to attach a Google Form via email automation, but that is a workaround, not an integrated solution.

With Navigatr, survey data lives alongside your badges, learners, and programmes. Everything is in one place.
